Zoho Creator is Zoho's low-code application platform. You describe your data as forms, and Creator gives you storage, screens, reports, permissions and a mobile app for each one. Logic is written in Deluge. The result is a real business application - with its own users and its own database - without the cost of building and hosting software from scratch.

Low-code does not mean no code. Creator's drag-and-drop builder gets a simple app working in an afternoon. Anything a business depends on - validation that checks other records, documents generated on submit, integrations with CRM or an external system, portals that show each customer only their own data - is development, and it is where a Creator developer earns their place.

Creator is not the answer to everything, and a CRM problem should be solved in CRM. These are the situations where it genuinely fits.

Creator features vary by plan - the number of users, portal users, apps and integration calls in particular - so we check your edition against the design before building.

The decisions that matter most are made before the first form exists. The data model - which forms there are, and how they relate - is the part that is expensive to change once real records depend on it, so we design it on paper and walk you through it first.

After that, we keep the logic where it can be found: validation on the form, business rules in named functions rather than scattered across field scripts, and scheduled jobs for anything heavy. Permissions are set per role from the start, not retrofitted once someone sees data they should not. And the app is tested by the people who will use it, on the devices they will use it on, before it replaces whatever they use now.
