Step 01
Discovery
We work out how the process really runs, where the data lives and what success looks like - before anyone picks a tool.
- 01How it really runs
- 02Where data lives
- 03What success is
Whatever stage you are at - a first Zoho rollout, a system Zoho was never meant to cover, or the two connected - the same team does the work.
Implementation across the suite, the development that makes it fit, and the integrations that connect it to everything else you run.
Web apps, portals, SaaS products and APIs in TypeScript, in your repository from the first commit - connected to Zoho when you use it.
That is a lot to choose from. In practice almost every project starts from one of five situations.
Nothing is set up yet, or a trial is running and nobody has decided what goes where. Start with implementation - CRM if sales is the pressure, Books if invoicing is, Zoho One if the answer is honestly both and more.
The common case. Zoho does ninety percent of what you need and the last ten percent is where the work lives - a process that does not match any default, a screen nobody wants to use, a report that cannot be built from stock fields.
Someone is retyping data between Zoho and something else - accounting, a payment gateway, an ERP, a spreadsheet that has become load-bearing. This is integration work, and it is usually the fastest money a Zoho project saves.
Approvals chased over email, tickets sorted by whoever opens the inbox first, the same five fields filled in after every call. Automation is the cheapest improvement on this list because nothing new has to be built - the data is already there.
Your customers will use it and judge you on it, it has to handle real volume, per-user licences would make it ruinous, or it is the product you sell. That is custom software - and if you run Zoho, it can still read and write your Zoho data.
We are developers before we are consultants, and that changes what you get. Most of what makes a Zoho setup feel like one system rather than a folder of apps - cross-app automations, custom functions, API work, widgets that live inside the CRM - is code. A partner who only configures will tell you the limits of the settings screens are the limits of Zoho. They are not.
Scope is written down before anything is built, and it is written in terms of what changes about someone's working day rather than a list of features. You see the work weekly while it is still cheap to steer. Credentials, API keys and connections are created in your own accounts from the start, so if you ever move on, nothing has to be unpicked.
And if a piece of work is not worth doing, we say so. Sometimes the right answer is a setting you already have, and that is a better outcome for you than a project.
From the first call to long after launch, you know what is happening next - and you own everything we build.
Step 01
We work out how the process really runs, where the data lives and what success looks like - before anyone picks a tool.
Step 02
What changes for whom, the approach we recommend - Zoho, custom code or both - and a clear price for the first phase.
Step 03
Short cycles with a working demo every week, so direction can change while change is still cheap.
Step 04
Data migrated and reconciled, people trained, and go-live planned rather than hoped for.
Step 05
Help when something changes or the next phase starts. Optional, and never because you are locked in.
What you own at the end
The questions we are asked before a project starts.
Tell us what you are trying to fix. We will say whether it belongs in Zoho, in custom code or in both, and send a clear, fixed-scope plan.
